Jobjack was created as a platform for job seekers and employers to connect. The co-founders realized, after organizing waitering jobs for friends and family, that there is a need for a singular platform where job seekers can find available positions. It was launched in 2018.

It’s an online platform for entry-level jobs, connecting employers and relevant job seekers. By staying up to date with technology they have created an easy to use platform where job seekers can register, create their JOBJACK CVs and apply for available positions in their area. Employers have the same option to register on the platform and post their available positions – giving them access to relevant candidates.

How to Sign Up?

To sign up is easy, once you are on, select ‘FIND A JOB’ if you are a job seeker and ‘POST A JOB’ if you are a job poster. Once on the next screen, select ‘Sign Up’ in the bottom right corner and follow the steps.

Forgot Password?

Click on the ‘Forgot password?’ link on the sign in screen. Enter your email address and click on the ‘Send Reset Password Link’ button. Go to your emails and click on the provided link. The link will redirect you to a new password screen. Enter your new password and click on the ‘New Password’ button. Now you will be able to sign in with your new password.

How do I apply for Job through Jobjack?

Follow the steps below to apply:

  1. Go to and select ‘FIND A JOB’.
  2. Sign up with your account information.
  3. Edit your profile until it’s 100% complete. 
  4. Browse the JOBJACK platform and apply for jobs.
  5. Successful job applicants will be contacted via notification SMS or Whatsapp.

NB: Make sure your profile is updated to 100% before applying for jobs.

How long does it takes for my application to be processed?

If you meet the job requirements for the job you applied for, you will be contacted either telephonically or via WhatsApp within 3-5 working days. Make sure that your profile is 100 % complete with accurate information. Ensure your spelling and punctuation is correct, ensure you input your three most recent work experiences and include a recent photograph of yourself (High quality photo of you smiling).

When will you get paid for a Job?

Once-off jobs: As soon as the job poster completes their payment process; this usually happens within a week after the job is completed. Part time and Permanent jobs: As per your employment contract with the company.
